1. Editorial layers
Market Accord distinguishes official source records, observed project evidence, participant-reported experience, professional interpretation and hypotheses. The label and limitation should match the evidence.
2. Automated tools and AI
Automation may collect structured source metadata, classify themes, identify possible duplicates, extract dates or draft a summary. It must not independently publish supplier-quality judgements, allegations, confidential information, legal conclusions, tender strategy or unsupported forecasts.
3. Human review
Material interpretation is reviewed for source relevance, representation, conflict, privacy, procurement integrity, language, evidence level and limitations before publication.
4. Sources
Authoritative primary sources are preferred for law, regulation, statistics, standards and official policy. Commentary may be used for experience or contested viewpoints, clearly identified as such.
5. Corrections
Minor typographical changes may be made silently. Material factual, source, conflict, status or interpretation changes are dated and recorded in the page or correction log where practicable. A credible competing interpretation may be added instead of deleting the original reasoning.
6. Right of reply
Where content materially concerns an identifiable organisation or person, Market Accord will consider whether fairness requires a reasonable opportunity to respond before or after publication, subject to law, urgency and public-interest risk.
7. No payment for favourable coverage
Funding, sponsorship or commercial relationships are disclosed and do not purchase a conclusion, ranking, registry status or suppression of material negative evidence.
