Funding, free participation and connected interests

Market Accord is operated by Bid Champions Ltd. Participant support is free; funding and any separate commercial relationship remain visible.

How the free route is supported

During the founding phase, Market Accord is created, operated and funded by Bid Champions Ltd. Website development, research preparation, programme design, registry infrastructure and entry-stage participant support are contributed through that relationship.

Accepted participants do not pay Market Accord for entry-stage guidance, project framing, supervised learning or evidence review. Capacity is limited. Sponsorship and responsible partnerships may fund more places later.

A participant may independently need third-party services or later choose separately contracted professional work. Any price, provider and relationship must be explained before commitment; declining paid work does not invalidate existing participation evidence.

Required disclosure

Every project identifies material interests.

The detail is proportionate to the relationship and the decision a reader may make.

Funding

Who paid, contributed time, supplied facilities or underwrote the activity—and whether payment depended on an outcome.

Connected parties

Ownership, family, employment, referral, consortium, supplier, buyer, adviser or other relationship capable of affecting judgement.

Commercial routes

Any option for Bid Champions, a partner or an expert to provide separately contracted work after or alongside the initiative.

Separation controls

The same organisation may contribute. It must not quietly judge itself.

  • Commercial scope and Market Accord scope are documented separately.
  • Invoices and deliverables identify which relationship applies.
  • Research and case-study permissions are not bundled into commercial terms.
  • Live bid strategy is not published as market research.
  • Connected reviewers are declared and, where material, excluded from a decision.
  • Project records identify the legal operator and ownership of experience.
  • Complaints can be escalated beyond the project lead.
Sponsorship rule: sponsors may define a broad challenge and lawful reporting need. They do not receive hidden access to participant data, control findings, suppress material negative evidence or select badge outcomes unless a restriction is explicitly lawful, ethically justified and published.

Ask about a relationship or conflict.

Use the contact route for factual questions and the complaints route where an interest may have affected participation, evidence or publication.
