FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about legal status, free and paid routes, bid work, badges, pilots, research, procurement integrity and the live signals system.
Is Market Accord a charity, CIC or public body?
No. During the founding phase Market Accord is an initiative and trade name operated by Bid Champions Ltd. A separate public-benefit structure may be considered later, but none is claimed now.
Is participation free?
Yes. Accepted participants are not charged for Market Accord's entry-stage guidance, project framing, supervised learning or evidence review. Places remain subject to fit, risk and available capacity. External costs such as registration, insurance, domains, advertising, licences or specialist services are not automatically covered, and any later commercial option is separate and disclosed in advance.
Does Market Accord write tenders?
Market Accord focuses on market development, operating capability, pilots, evidence and buyer–supplier learning. Bid writing and live pursuit work may be provided separately by Bid Champions under a distinct agreement and disclosed relationship.
Does the badge certify that a supplier is good?
No. It confirms only the participation status shown in the linked registry record. It is not certification, accreditation, buyer approval, an approved-supplier listing or a guarantee of quality or contract award.
Can a new business use a founder's previous experience?
Relevant professional experience can be described accurately, but it must be attributed to the person and context. It must not be presented as delivery history of the new legal entity. Market Accord can help build organisational and pilot evidence transparently.
Can a project use a separate trading name?
Yes, where the actual legal operator, contracting party, invoicing, insurance, data responsibility and Market Accord/Bid Champions relationship remain clear in customer communications and the registry.
Will Market Accord introduce suppliers to buyers?
It may run appropriately controlled engagement or partnership activity, but it does not promise introductions, preferred access, tender advantage or contracts. Public procurement safeguards apply where relevant.
Can buyers use Market Accord before a tender?
Potentially. The buyer must identify the procurement status, protect competition, use appropriate participation and records, share relevant information where necessary and address any participant advantage. Buyer-specific legal and governance responsibilities remain with the authority.
Does Market Accord provide ISO certification?
No. It may support proportionate management-system implementation and evidence. Formal certification is a separate activity delivered by an appropriate certification body.
How are research participants protected?
Service administration, research participation, registry publication, case-study permission and marketing contact are separate. Anonymisation is risk-assessed rather than assumed from removal of names.
Can sponsors control what is published?
A lawful and ethical agreement may define confidentiality or publication timing, but it cannot silently purchase favourable findings or suppress material negative evidence while the project is presented as open research.
How does the live signals page update?
A scheduled script retrieves factual metadata from official structured sources. Automatic records are shown separately from human-reviewed Market Accord interpretations.
What happens when a project fails?
Failure, limitation and a decision to pause or stop are valid learning outcomes. Material negative evidence should be recorded and, where lawful and responsible, included in public learning.
How can I challenge a record or article?
Use the correction route for factual or interpretive content and the complaints route for conduct, conflict, privacy, research, badge or procurement-integrity concerns.
A material question is missing?
Send a factual question or use the complaints route where the issue concerns conduct, privacy, research, conflicts or procurement integrity.
