Partnerships

Partners and responsible funding

A transparent route for buyers, business-support organisations, universities, professional bodies, funders and delivery partners to support market development without purchasing conclusions.

Purpose-ledRelationship disclosedNo sponsor control of findings

Fund the missing implementation, not another awareness event

Partners can help participants move from information to operating capability, test a buyer challenge, establish a sector evidence baseline, develop open resources or support an accessible cohort. The strongest partnership has a clear beneficiary, decision, evidence plan and route for learning to remain useful after funding ends.

Market Accord publishes the sponsor, scope, selection method, connected interests and material publication restrictions. A funder cannot buy a favourable badge, suppress material negative findings or receive hidden access to participant data.

Partnership routes

Different resources, one transparency standard.

Each route defines what the partner contributes, who benefits and who owns decisions.

Buyer challenge sponsor

Supports structured engagement or market-development research around a published or appropriately bounded challenge.

Participant cohort funder

Funds practical readiness or reliability support for a defined group under published eligibility and selection rules.

Evidence and data partner

Contributes a dataset, evaluation, anonymised operational evidence or technical source under agreed publication controls.

Professional knowledge partner

Provides specialist review, workshop input, mentoring or a defined expert assignment with conflicts and limitations declared.

Pilot host

Provides a controlled environment, users, operational conditions or facilities for a pilot with responsibility clearly allocated.

Open-resource partner

Helps develop, test and publish a sector-specific checklist, evidence model or implementation guide.

Partner assurance

What a credible agreement covers.

  • Public-purpose question and intended beneficiaries.
  • Partner contribution, funding and in-kind support.
  • Participant eligibility, selection and accessibility.
  • Legal responsibility and delivery ownership.
  • Data, confidentiality, consent and publication rights.
  • Procurement integrity and connected interests.
  • Evidence measures, review and negative-result treatment.
  • Brand, badge and public statement permissions.
  • Complaints, correction and termination route.
  • What remains after the partnership ends.
Independence in context: Market Accord is operated by Bid Champions Ltd and is not structurally independent at launch. A partnership agreement cannot describe it as independently governed unless that becomes factually true.
